| Hi! I own a blue Strobo Stomp tuner. My input jack is damaged. I'm a professional electronic tech. Do the neutrik connector jacks that are installed on the new Strobostomp2 retro fit onto the original strobostomp pedal? If so where can I get the connectors? What's the neutrik part number? |

Hi Mark, The Neutriks don't fit the older model unless they're point to point wired. Click on my name to the left of this post, send me your address and I will send you a new jack.

| I'm having a problem with the input jack - it seems like the screw won't stay on, and I really don't want to damage my Strobostomp. What can I do?? |

Hi Johnny, I can either send you a new jack or you can send the tuner to us and we will install one for you. The StroboStomp has a 3 year warranty, so its still valid. Let me know which way you want to handle it.

Hello!
The input jack on my Strobostomp is also damaged. The little metal ring inside just came out when I unplugged my guitar the other day. Is there anything you all can do to help?? Thanks in advance!

Are all SS1's still under warranty? I don't remember if I registered mine or not. How do I find out? The jack seems to be flaking out on mine too.
Edit: Nevermind, found the date that I bought it from musiansfriend.com and registered my warranty.

I seem to be having a problem with the input jack on my StroboStomp as well. The signal continually becomes weak and I need to wiggle or unplug the cable to get full signal back. I've tried cleaning the input...but still no luck. Just don't understand why the signal is weaker...yet doesn't cut out.
Would you recommend just replacing the jack? How hard is it to get to?
Thanks! |

I am sure my Strobostomp is out of warranty ( I picked it up used). The output jack is dead so I can't chain it with my other pedals. What is the procedure for buying one?
Every one that sees the tuner is jealous. I have used it to intonate several guitars and basses. It is a great product.
Thanks, Dave |

I am also beginning to have trouble with the input jack.
I don't mean to be rude to your engineers but it amazes me that so much thought and expertise can be put into a really good product and yet no one thought to provide some kind real world strain relief for the input and output jacks.
I just opened mine up to find that the only thing really holding the jacks in place is the solder points in the circuit board.
How long do you think those joints are going to stay functional after regular wear and tear of a 1/4 inch jack being inserted a few hundred times not to mention that the jack is going to yanked on occasionally?
I realize you didn't engineer the pedal and I don't mean to take this out on you.
I've been in this business for a long time and one of the most frustrating things I've dealt with over the years is under engineered audio gear when it comes to the basic construction and reliability. How something looks seems to win out over function most of the time. |

Anyone who has a problem with the jacks, or for that matter, anything to do with the pedal is covered by a 3 year warranty that we stand by. You're welcome to send in your Stomp1 for repair, just go to the Help Desk and someone will look after you.
